Healthy Pumpkin Brownies 🎃🍫

My famous almond butter brownies but make them pumpkin!!! Spooky season is upon us which means, all things pumpkin!!!! Am I right?! This recipe is so easy! Gooey, sink your teeth in brownies no one will ever know these are made with nourishing ingredients!


Only a few ingredients and 30 minutes in the oven and you've got yourself a healthified pumpkin treat. Grain Free, Gluten Free, Flour Free, Vegan Option! Paleo friendly brownies with a pumpkin spice addition to make it a little more ~fall~ and ~basic~


INGREDIENTS:


1 Egg (sub flax egg for vegan)

1/2 cup almond butter (make sure its oily)

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

1/3 cup honey or sub maple syrup

1/4 cup cacao powder

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking powder

1-2 tsp pumpkin pie spice plus more for topping

@lilys_sweets_chocolate (you can use the chocolate chips or crush up a chocolate bar)



DIRECTIONS:


Preheat oven to 350

Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl until combined evenly.

Add dry ingredients and mix again.

Fold in chocolate chips

Pour batter into an 8x8 dish lined with parchment paper or greased with coconut oil

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until fork comes out clean. Will be gooey, if you leave overnight they will harden and be more brownie like. Right out of the oven they are pretty gooey but still delicious!

Top with as much pumpkin pie spice as your hear desires, or add in to the mix before baking!
